Weather Forecast: The weather is changing rapidly across the country, with morning temperatures gradually dropping. While rain has paused in the northern states, it continues in the south.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Gujarat for October 13. Additionally, heavy rain warnings have been extended to 10 states until October 16.
According to the IMD, the southwest monsoon is expected to withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and parts of Maharashtra over the next two days. For the southern states, heavy rain alerts remain in effect for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry until October 15. Furthermore, Kerala may experience heavy rainfall for the next six days, while Andhra Pradesh can expect rain from October 14 to 16.
Karnataka may experience rain on October 14, while Tamil Nadu and Kerala expect heavy downpours on the 13th and 14th.
Delhi Weather Forecast
In Delhi-NCR, temperatures are decreasing, accompanied by cold winds. The Meteorological Department predicts maximum temperatures between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius, with minimums around 16 to 19 degrees Celsius.
Dry weather is expected in Delhi for the next 7-10 days, with no significant activity in the mountains for the next 4-5 days. Daytime humidity will be low, making for pleasant afternoons.
An alert has also been issued for heavy rain in the Konkan, Goa, and Gujarat regions today (October 13). Additionally, rain is likely in Saurashtra and Kutch today.
